We had a very well attended baby shower for Sarah and her boy due in just 4 weeks.  The décor was all in blue, yellow, and brown,  with the cutest centerpieces! Lots of little well wishers accompanied there Mom’s and Ashley (party host)  had baskets of activities to keep them busy and entertained as well.  We so enjoyed celebrating with Sarah, congratulations!

Tina spent 2 days in the state capitol this week on behalf of the Idaho State B & B association. She participated in a workshop on promotuing state toursism.  It was a mind numbing 2 days with a ton of information.  She feels that, with her lack of shorthand skills, only a fraction of the information was retained.

We just completed a very successful Groupon, a two day stay for only $149!  We sold over 180!  We look forward to all the new friends we’ll be making as these people make there reservations and come and experience our piece of history.

We love being a part of the most joyous occassions in life!  We have a guest who will be having a baby shower here to celebrate with friends and family the upcoming birth of their new baby !  We love being a part of special events such as these; weddings, baby showers, reunions, etc.  Congratulations!!

We give new meaning to the famous song line “The hills are alive”.  The mountains are a buzz with lots of snow and avid snow skiiers. Coeur d’ Alene is located in the center of 5 different slopes, Lookout Pass, Silver Mt,. Schweitzer Mt, 49 Degrees North and Mt. Spokane, all less than an hour away.  Ski a different mountain every day and come home to a fabulous hot tub, and cozy room each night.  In town, however, we are experiencing the big thaw.  We had a blast of winter with 18 inches of snow, but our temps have been in the high 30’s all week and we’re down to only mounds of snow on the side of the road and parking lots.  Still fun for the kids to slide down!
